Foam Concentrate FOMTEC ARC 3×3

Fomtec ARC 3×3 is a highly effective, versatile, film-forming foam (3×3). The main advantage of Fomtec ARC 3×3 foam is the 3% induction ratio for ALL Class B fires, including polar solvents, in both fresh water and seawater.
Film-forming foam is characterized by its ability to quickly spread over the fire, making it extremely effective in combating hydrocarbon fires. By adding special polymers to the foam concentrate, it ensures that the foam is also highly effective in extinguishing polar solvent fires.
Due to the low surface tension of the water-foam concentrate, the water-based film, which is heavier than the flammable liquid, floats on the surface of the hydrocarbon liquid.
When the foam is used to extinguish polar solvent fires, the polymer film ensures that the foam blanket can effectively extinguish the fire. It also works on foam-destroying liquids, such as MTBE.
