Riot Shield is manufactured of 4 mm impact proof polykarbonate. The Interlocking design enables two or more shields to be locked to each other fast and rigidly, thus creating a barrier which is several shield widths wide. Shield has ambidextrous handles with an additional handle in the top part of the shield. The handle holding forearm has a design, which allows a safe release of the forearm in case a demonstrator trying to wrest the shield from the officer.
Shield can be ordered in preferred lenght (60 cm – 180 cm). Shield can be equipped with a baton holder for a long vinyl baton. Shield is also tested against fragments and small particles (NATO STANAG 2920).
